Episode 1: Anthony Pierce

Co-Founder of The Galactic Tribe/Wakanda Alliance

Anthony Pierce is the Co-Founder of Wakanda Alliance/The Galactic Tribe. The Galactic Tribe cultivates communities through intergenerational workshops and programming.

The Wakanda Alliance is a comic reading and comprehension workshop. It was developed to help readers explore the historical context behind Marvel's most famous African heroes—the Black Panther, T'Challa, and his sister, Shuri.

Get Fokus’d Productions (GFP) was awarded funding by the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) through Arts Services Inc.’s fiscal sponsorship in support of the second iteration of Tales from the Porch. This groundbreaking exhibition amplifies stories told by minority-owned businesses and organizations impacting the Buffalo, NY community.

This project also included support from Buffalo AKG Art Museum and the Patreon members of A.I. The Anomaly.
