We serve the Eastside community of Buffalo NY in many ways, one of which is through our relationship with a church, Christ Crusaders Assembly where we provide Creative Media services and Youth Development Services. They are located about a block away from the tragic event that happened at TOPS Friendly Markets.
The recent tragedy that unfolded in Buffalo, led to the temporary closing of the store. This impacts the high population of elderly residents and those with little to no access to transportation.
Considering these circumstances, they decided to convert their sanctuary into a food distribution site, or a “food depot,” to provide free bags of groceries and hygiene products to families within the surrounding area.
Our efforts are with them right now.
